    Hi guys,

Been away for a week and just came home and have noticed a few ants hanging around the bin in my bedroom..

I can only see about four or five, would cleaning out the room and disinfecting be a good way to get rid of them? They can't have built a whole nest by now, surely?

I rent this house and share with three other girls, no one else has had this problem. Help!

Have you got some baking powder in the house? Them ants eat it and blow up from the inside. That's some natural remedy I got from my granny.

Have them identified so that you know what you are dealing with. If they are ants, killing off those 4 or 5 is about as useful as putting out a bucket to catch all the rain, unless you clean thoroughly all sources of food for them...they tend to quickly signal to the rest of the ant-nest where and when food is about!!
