Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Folks,

A quick question of curiosity... I have seen what look like little white chimney stacks popping up from the ditches in a few locations around the South East on my travels. They are probably about eight feet high, five inches in diameter with a little pointy cap on top and the ones I have seen are in farmers fields bordering the roadside...?

These are vents for the main GAS pipes running thoughout the country...

I drive past them on my way to work every day.

I figured they're just to indicate where the gas main passes under the road.

They have a label on them but I've never actually stopped to read them

These are replacements for the old high viz. locators on the high pressure gas lines used for helicoptor surveys.
