[Golf] The Open Championship 2012

Having created a small amount of interest thanks to bazwin, we've now got a Fantasy Sports Arena league for the 4majors fantasy golf game.

Our league is here, and the password is "harrington". Or just click "My Mini-Leagues > Join Mini-Leagues, then enter the password.

You have until the 5th of April (tomorrow) to sign up.

This thread can cover all aspects of the first tournament of the 4: The US Masters

If any of you have good links for information, keeping up to date, and all that, please share.

My team at the minute is:

Rory
Tiger
Phil
Donald
Westwood.

I can see one or two of Bradley, Mahan, Watson, Scott or Day coming through and doing well and even winning, but I'm having trouble deciding who.

I've gone with the players that I think will be there or there abouts.

There will be live coverage of the final two rounds on BBC Two on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 April 2012. In addition to this there will also be live text commentary online and coverage on Radio 5 Live from Thursday 5 April 2012.

Don't forget, everyone... you can only pick each player a maximum of 3 times out of 4 tournaments.

So it'll help you to know which one you want to leave Rory/Tiger/etc out of... because they have to miss at least one.

Looks like the course isn't playing easy only 3 players under par thus far. Weather might have an effect later if it rains

I've only had a few radio updates, but I keep hearing "hooked it off the tee". Seems like a lot are struggling out there. Tiger apparently did well to hold par though.

Not watching it myself either unfortunately! He's now -1, so seems to have recovered well from a rough start.

In fairness the average scoring is high. Stenson and Lawrie opening up a bit of a lead though!

True, and Tiger has dropped one now. But there is a bit of a bunch forming on -1. But players seem to be up and down a lot.
