Have a read of this : http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Licences/NewToVictoria/OverseasDriversLicences.htm
It will tell you everything, but essentially you don't have to switch unless on a PR.
Since you only have the licence for a few months you'll go back to P plates here
