Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

iPad guardian app

    Got my first iPad today it's amazing , I love it
    Anyway was wondering about the guardian app , I got the trial for it,
    And was wondering is it possible to buy a single issue of it ? Like the kindle version as I don't think I need a full subscription

    as far as i know, its a 6 or 12 month subscription, but there are plenty of better news apps that are free.... thejournal and sky news imo, are far superior

    I just the Guardian mobile site on my iPhone. It works fine. I'm not sure how much more you get from the app as opposed to the mobile site.

    Sky News is subscription only now it seems.

    I downloaded Sky News and Sky Sports/Sky Sports Football apps for my iPad and they all said I needed to either pay, or be a Sky customer. (Deleted - goodbye!)

    The iPhone ones are free.
