Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone use them? Are they useful or an unnecessary luxury?

i would not be without them i have 3 around the farm ,found them great the other day when weaning 10 bulls for 2-3 days cut shock off to other fields so they could get full belt in their paddock.

Good man Legwax. Are they bought ones or are they a homemade job? I think they are expensive enough

My land is divided by central farm roadway. One link wire, easily disconnected supplying power across road. All paddocks only live if handles closed, so if I want to give full belt to a paddock, I open the rest of them.:)

I too think they look expensive... think i've seen small versions of croadile clips like off of a welder earth cable.... looked alright

personally I am of the mind that all wires should be left permenantly on... except for winter. a good hot wire should self clean to a degree. Also found that the amount of time spent changing wires around to give only one hot field was extraordinary not to mention the increased potiential for cock ups:eek:

handy for isolating padocks during maintainance.
but i also spoted gsm switch on dd ;)

I also spotted that, but I won't be purchasing, not at that money. Half it and I'd still be thinking!
