Museum of British Surfing opens

There's a museum of british surfing opened in north Devon. THey have pictures of King edward surfing in Hawaii in the 1920's, supposedly the earliest photo of a british surfer.

On another note about Irish surfing. Knock have opened the Milan, Frankfurt, Barcelona routes, that will open up the tourism for surfing in a big way, also the connecting flights at Frankfurt will get people interested also. Although some won't be too happy to hear that...

and in an odd link, earl mountbatten also pictured in that shot, was blown up by the IRA in 1979 in sligo at mullaghmore within a few hundred meters of where the tow in big wave breaks, completing an odd link of the royals and surfing....
