Just a small little thing, like a jewellery box but a bit smaller, about the size of an ashtray basically, its a harder thing to find than you'd think! Any shops in town doing stuff like that? Near O Connells Street if possible.

Like a cigar box? try the cigar shop at college green or the one up at the top of grafton street.

Best shop in Dublin, without a doubt!

Try George's Street Arcade, there's lots of little bric-a-brac stalls there where you might get something.

try the GPO arcade. there is a shop just in the door beside the newsagents that sells boxes.

kinda sounds like you want a stash box,

try the hemp store on capel st,

or Pagoda in the ilac, it sells a lot of Asian stuff,

    or Tambula in Temple Bar,

or Banana Tree in Stephens green centre,

o+r the shop in the GPO arcade the name of which escapes me right now

should be able to get something nice in one of those

I would try a flea market. There's one every last Sunday every month on Newmarket Square, for example
