Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pasta with those Dolmio stir in sauces. I'd use proper sauce and add some mince if I was feeling fancy.

We use to laugh in Lyster's in Ranelagh on sunday nights when the culchies returned with apple tarts that travelled for hours beforehand only for some drunken bum to accidently sit on them :D

One of my earliest bedsit culinary dishes was a bowl of pasta mixed with a tin of sardines and a dollop of mayo....I proudly called it 'fish chow', come to think of it now...it was sh1te

That sounds like one of the most manky meals ever made.

St. Bernard spaghetti hoops and economy burgers, Findus pancakes another favourite.

Wouldn't go near them now though I might try a crispy bacon and cheese pancake, they were delic.

Spag bol was the posh meal, cheapest mince you could find, cheap sauce and throw whatever you had lying in the fridge in!

I have many a fond memory of those meat like things. Usually looked better going out than in.

Resembled cardboard more than meat, I go to the chip van outside the night club at 3 AM to get my nostalgic fix.

Abrakebraba was for times when you were flush, lovely 1/4 pounders.

I can also remember the bread war but was pre student days, leaving cert summer break days. 29p for Brennans or Pat the Baker loafs.
