Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What are your views on sidekicks?

    Are they worthy companions or just a waste of space?

    Does anyone actually have a sidekick or is a sidekick to someone else? Is it/Are they fulfilling? There are used to be a couple of people in school who were sidekicks, usually of the bully or the popular kids but I don’t recall who has continued to be a sidekick after 18 years old. Do they still exist in adulthood outside of the fictional world?

    I have a negative view of sidekicks. I think if anybody is actually a sidekick they are severely lacking self-esteem and are actually quite insecure people. I don’t think it’s natural to be voluntarily subservient to anyone else. I always think Robin for example must go home and cry himself to sleep each night when he helps Batman out but Batman gets all the glory. Or maybe sidekicks are just misunderstood and being loyal to someone is a very virtuous and noble thing. What does everyone think?
