    Hon the Scots

They weathered the storm very well

Edinburgh have done well to get back into it.

Good DG from Laidlaw, best option too, Edinburgh were going nowhere fast in those phases.

Rennie back on, back to 15 vs 15.

8-3 during the two sin binnings, not to bad

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,198 ✭✭✭✭Crash

Nice drop by Laidlaw, good lift just as Rennie's sinbin ends, and the halftime clock ticks down.

(and as I say that they knock on from the restart)

Edinburgh could win this if they stop getting yellow cards. Toulouse dont look great. Nothing like they played like against Leinster last year

    10-14 HT

I thought Edinburgh were ****ed when they went down to 13, fair play to them for staying in it.

I can only see one winner though.

I thought he was spot on with the yellow cards. First one was cynical, second one was slowing the ball down under the posts, what's the problem?

The next ref in the firing line will be slated for being a 'homer', they can't win.

2 yellows were dead right. Jacobsen's one was beyond dumb.

I thought the two yellows were slightly harsh but fair enough. Another referee could easily have given a penalty for what was the first yellow and a warning and then a yellow for the second one but two yellows is probably fair

He should have moved the early tackle up ten yards, yellow was a tad harsh IMO

Rennie could have no complaints though

Wow, it's all happening now. Almost wish I didn't have to go to the Aviva now... Consistent reffing from Owens, I'd love to know if he was going to card Servat before Eburgh started badgering him.

What happened to the streams thread along the top? Anyone got any streams for this?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,318 ✭✭✭Fishooks12

I often wonder if Scotland and Edinburgh would be better off with keeping Jacobson muzzled and tied to the corner flag until scrum time

The man is only good for one thing

    Jinx alert!

If Edinburgh hold out, it's a massive result for Munster/Ulster.

Biggest 6 min for Scottish rugby this year.

Edit: this year so far anyway.

I don't know their backline play has been really good. Some great offloads, switches and lines.
