Broadband help!

    So basically i need broadband for 3 months while im off college but i dont want home phone. il be using it for xbox live and would like a fairly fast service and if possible unlimited cap. I was going to get upc but sadly they arent in my area (ennis) :( Has anyone any ideas on other providers?? what are magnet like??

    You're not going to get any broadband service on a three month basis. It simply doesn't exist.

    true not a lot of choice for 3 months but mobile is pretty crap for xbox live and "unlimited" too:)

    A neighbour of my in laws in South West Kerry uses Vodafone mobile internet and normally is able to play xbox live, amazingly.
    Not experienced it myself, but he is on regularly without too many problems.

    Lucky them but as I said earlier a system that depends on luck isn't really a good thing. The normal ping time on mobile is about 100ms so not very good for interactive games but better than satellite
