Keep an eye on the prices over the 2 weeks folks as the other retailers have some good deals there also.

Lots of dinners and snacks there to keep you going for the 2 weeks.

Baby Corn, Mangetout, Sugar Snap Peas, French Beans.

Probaby plenty for a stir fry for 3/4 people, with some onion and pepper thrown in. Still have some brocolli and carrot from the previous offer so all together that will do us fine for Tuesdays dinner. That's what I'm working on anyway

A quick update on the Aldi Mini veg mix is not really a 'mix' as advertised. They are being sold in individual packs and not mixed. Still good value.

Had our stir fry this evening. Will be having another on Thursday with what's left !!

They often have onions at 49c out of nowhere in lidl.

The mini veg have been reduced to 35c in my local store, the rest still 69c.

Good veg offers in Dunnes for this week and until 27th April, all 35c.

Interesting enough that they are calling it their 'Better Value 6'. Aldi must be hurting them.

Bought a good bit today. Some ideas

Oranges - I made fresh orange juice as these ones are really sweet and juicy. Search Google for ways to use the left over rind - Candied orange peel, Orange souffle, Carrot and Orange soup, Rhubarb and Orange Crumble, Slug Traps, Kindling for fire, etc, etc

Avocado - Guacamole dip with chili. Mmmmmm

Tomato - Make your own sauces. Easy to do and you'll be amazed with the flavours, even with shop bought toms

White / Red Cabbage - Home made coleslaw. You've tasted nothing like it. Also Braized Red Cabbage, Rice with red cabbage, etc, etc.
