Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Personally I'd delete the "thank button". Admittedly I have used it but I hate seeing a list of "thanks" after a post that's actually longer than the post itself.

    I think it would be handy for users to turn off "thanks" for themselves like you can with avatars. That way they could browse without having to see clusters of thanks everywhere.

    Didnt boards have one of these threads stickied in AH a few months back? iirc one of the most wanted things was removal of swear filters. I would change that.

    I used to like reading through the most thanked posts of the day as a catch-up on the more interesting & funny posts of the day.

    However, that page has become ruined by a huge host of "YLYL" posts that are simply re-posts of pictures from other websites that are usually not even vaguely amusing.

    I know there are lots of people who enjoy them*, so instead of removing them, I'd have a filter that leaves the page free for the most thanked posts from other forums.

    * = Kind of like Westlife. There's no accounting for taste, but I'm all for 'live & let live.'

    I only started doing only a week ago and it was interesting seeing all the colours. I didn't realise there was a swear filter too. I check the User CP for that as well.
