    No removable lenses

I hope mine will be OK. It's a bridge camera but doesn't have removable lens.

For today, it has a lens bigger than 1" you wont get in with it.

where is the entrance to the lower west side seats in the stadium?

Does anyone know if there are any glow sticks/wands being sold outside of stadium? I'm familiar with vendors selling them outside of the O2 and I wanted to know if there any being sold right now for Lady Gaga.

Well she will curse a fair bit and rant etc and the show will be fairly provocative but I'd say any child under 11ish wouldn't get what it's on about.. Mainly anyone between 12/13/14 might be a bit too young..

Am we in trouble with an 8 year old?

    Gaga was epic! Awesome concert!!!!

I agree!!Really wasn't expecting it to be as amazing as it was!The mechanical horse at the start blew me away!!She puts on a show of epic proportions!!!And so nice with the die hard fans she brings back stage!!

Thought that overall it was disappointing. Was expecting more from the general production. Saw Take Thats last two tours in Croke Park, that is what a paying punter should expect when paying over 60e a ticket. I'd expect more from someone who's one of the biggest stars in world. Take that had a mechanical horse too and a human robot.

I didn't think it possible for a performer to do more sh1te talking than bono. I was very wrong. Gaga must've killed at least 30 mins throughout the show talking nonsense.

In saying that when as was banging out he hits she was fantastic.

Thought a lot of her comments were a bit OTT considering the amount of young people who were at the gig and buy her records. Could've shown a bit or tact.

For the previous poster who mentioned how nice it was of her to invite people backstage my understanding is they paid a massive premium for their tickets!!

The people brought backstage were in the Monster Pit, I was lucky enough to get a place there myself and I paid the standard 86 euros for a standing ticket.

We had queued for most of the day to get in there so it was nice to see their patience was rewarded.

I was talking to some of them during the wait and the dedication they had in making the gifts etc that were thrown onstage and the time and work that went into making their costumes was incredible. Its nice to see Gaga recognises that.

Just to add I am not a fan, I was only there to bring my daughter and her friends but after seeing her in action I am in total awe of her. She is one hell of an amazing performer and I couldn't take my eyes off her.

I'm not a massive fan and was given the tickets. Really enjoyed last night and what I loved was she played all her big numbers. The words I hate hearing at a concert as "from my new album" because lets face it, we all go to hear the favourites.

I missed the show and tell because I was in the queue for the bar, would rather have missed that than the songs so no complaints there ;)

I did think there was no need for a lot of the language, there were a lot of under tens around us. I also think the UK comment was a little ignorant but she seemed to get away with it.

Anyone know what the official attendance figures were? Huge empty sections of the stadium but the Gods were pretty full. Looks like living social only got a proportion of the leftover tickets because the deal had sold out by 11am but there were thousands of empty seats.

Went with my wife, was expecting total rubbish, however was impressed with the stage show. She did go a bit ott with shock value, but the tickets did say something about not suitable for under 14s! The thing that surprised me was the Jameson drinking with fans on stage.

Her UK comment displayed a bit of political ignorance, but was forgivable.

Very eclectic audience there, would guess that gay men made up about a quarter of the attendance. Most seemed to be of the "dancing queen" variety. All lended to a bit of a mardi gras atmosphere.

I think she mentioned 35,000 at end of show. It only filled up just before she came on. I enjoyed The Darkness, was a bit disappointing that the place was a bit dead for them.

Why do people think Lady Gaga is suitable for children????

No-one less than 15 year old IMHO. Her music has very adult themes and she is an outspoken advocate of Gay Rights and Anti-Bullying. The seats that were empty earlier for the darkness I couldn't believe how packed they were for Gaga! All the seating with poor view/sound were not available and covered off.

The UK comment- she said he hah followed her all around the UK- if she has said followed me all around the states would people take offence? It wasnt implying Dublin was in the UK just how much of a fan boy he was. I could have done without the fanboy stuff myself, but she does has a very hardcore following so I understand.

I thought the concert was awesome, and wasn't in the greatest of humours before hand but left feeling great enjoyed the music and theatre and paws up to Mother Monster!!!

I saw the covered off seats, not referring to those, there were still thousands of empty seats, particularly at the far end.

You were lucky. As mentioned earlier in the thread they were initially selling tickets with "early access...but not guaranteeing monster pit access" for €196 and other tickets at €211.

Obviously if there was spare capacity they were giving people access to the pit.

As for posts re attendance there was an awful lot of empty seats. We were in upper west stand and there was empty seats scattered all around. It was evident that the pitch was nowhere near full.

I think concerts are beginning to feel the effects of the recession. As an example, this year Bruce only played 2 nights in Dublin. For the last 10 years he has consistently played 3 nights. In effect his attendance is down 33% and his audience would probably have more disposable income than many other audiences.

Last time Springsteen was here he only did 2 nights , but the time before he did 3 . Yea i do agree that people cant afford all these big gigs anymore , hopefully it will mean dropping the prices a small bit . Also all the big stadium gigs this year had a bad turn out and not selling out (RHCP , Madonna and Gaga)

Did no one else think it was a bit bad miming 4/5 songs and disappearing off stage for costume changes mid song a few times with a track finishing the song?

It was a great show. I got in with my bridge camera (thankfully) because we were way at the back.
Loads of empty seats which was a shame. Again I'm amazed at the amount of kids there, one was only 3 years old!
The Darkness were brilliant, I'd have loved to have been standing.
I did think the Monster Ball was better though. The costumes were better and more of a story to the show.

I was standing, not sure if it was worth the €90, which is crazy for a standing ticket to a show. Especially coming from an artist who cares so much about her fans.

I never considered myself a big Gaga fan. I went more for the spectacle than anything else. I still don't buy fully into that whole little monster/Mother Monster thing.

But y'know what? It doesn't fúcking matter, No matter how easy a target she is for music snobs to throw shít at, Ms. Stefani Germanotta is a brilliant live performer. This wasn't just a gig, this was a show. And the devotion shown to her by the thousands of people at the Aviva last night just goes to prove that.

I bought two tickets and, having had a few people flake on me, was unable to sell my second ticket. I still have no regrets about going on my own; she was almost worth the price of the two tickets. I found myself drawing an odd comparison between her and Sigur Rós, who I saw at Electric Picnic two weeks ago; on record they're both good but live they're both something else altogether.

Everything about the Born This Way Ball, even the stuff I would have rolled my eyes at and cringed at last week.......it just clicked. Everything just worked. No moment seemed OTT or out of place. It's easy to dismiss Gaga as a phony, just another run-of-the-mill pop star. I've probably done the same before. But last night was special. At least to me it was anyway, :)

Thought a lot of her comments were a bit OTT considering the amount of young people who were at the gig and buy her records. Could've shown a bit or tact.

 FFS she's not a children's entertainer! It's not her business whether or not parents bring their kids to her shows. Besides, kids are gonna learn about the big bad world eventually, and it's better to be the cool parent that exposes them to it at a healthy age, and will educate them about it, than to be the overprotective parent who shelters them for a ridiculous amount of time.

Take my word for it, you do NOT want to be the last kid in the classroom who knows what sex, drugs and rock n' roll are. Personally I'd have no problem bringing a kid of 7 or 8 to a Gaga concert; they'll be able to enjoy the music without being irreparably scarred for life by the slightest references to so-called "adult themes".

Eh, there's a big difference between simply miming along to a backing track (which a lot of "live" pop-music performers do) and singing live with a backing track on in the background, the latter being what Gaga was doing.
Sure, there was a backing track to some of the more demanding/uptempo numbers but consider her performances of "Hair", "Princess Die" and the first half of "The Edge of Glory". Say what you like about the woman but those performances show beyond doubt that she can fúcking SING. There's absolutely no way in hell the likes of Britney, Rihanna or Katy Perry could come anywhere near matching a live vocal of that quality.

Lady Gaga doesn't set the price of the tickets the promoters do - I thought that would be simple cop on, but there you go.

Amazing show and I loved it - also I'm sick to death of people saying she should tone it down for the children - think of the children, **** the children. She's not aimed at children, she's aimed at 18-25 year olds who know all about drinking, sex, etc., etc., Its not up to her to parent your kids, leave them at home if thou are offended. She had Lady Starlight and the Darkness as her warm-up acts, not Jedward - kind of hints to her show. Why can't us young adults have someone that appeals to us without her having being censored?

As for there being 35,000 at the show - she says that at every gig, that's her spiel. Not sure what the official attendance was but it looked pretty decent for a finish even though there were empty patches all over in the seating areas. I had a great time in the Monster Pit anyway, don't know about anyone else.

As for paying out mad prices to meet her - those fans never get picked, you've to be in the Pit. So, no, she doesn't charge people to meet her, she rewards those who queue and make signs that catch her attention. Jeez, don't like Lady Gaga by all means, but get the facts right.

I thought her vocals were stunning.

As I said before I'm not a fan so I did expect an artist more style than substance, I was shocked at just how good a singer she is.

I went along on Saturday a bit peeved at giving up my day to escort two teenagers to an act I never took much notice of before, I came home converted, knicked all my daughters albums and have been listening to them since. :D
