Just back from camping in Rivervalley in Redcross Wicklow.

Just wonder if there are any other sites as good as this close to Dublin ?
would have 2 children with me.

I've been to Hidden valley also in Wicklow. but by Far Rivervalley is the better of the two I've been to.

do you know of any other good sites to visit ?

Why restrict yourself to Dublin/Wicklow ?

There are some great campsites around Ireland and there is'nt too many places in this country you can't drive to in 4+ hours.

A few of my favourite would be Mannix Point, Cahersiveen, Co Kerry.
Lakeside Holiday Park beside Lough Derg in Mountshannon.
    Nagle's Seaside Park, Doolin.

I'm sure plenty of people can recommend more.

As mentioned in the previous post, Lakeside Holiday Park beside Lough Derg in Mountshannon is a great campsite! I stayed there last summer while on a cycling tour and thought it was brilliant.
