I need to buy a few bits for a house that I rent out, if I was to buy some second hand goods could still get tax back? Or must I buy it new.

    Thanks.

If you buy the items from someone who can provide you a valid VAT receipt then there shouldn't be any reason you can't put the receipts back against your tax.
