I think I may actually do Larkin if he appears. Spent the last 30 mins looking at him. Not much time left now for Hamlet or the comparative.

What do you guys talk about for Theme and Issue?

Friendship, hoping for GV though. Only done Plath and Rich, should I look over Frost or Kavangh(not doing Boland, hate her)? Havent even looked at single text yet, Dancing at Lughnasa

I've literally spent the whole morning waiting for it to be time to have lunch because I decided yesterday that I'd have pasta before this exam, and I feckin' love pasta. :P It's still not time to have lunch. :(

    The Theme of Dreams

Had an epic dream last night. (Hahaha my autocorrect changed that to 'I had an epic freak lady last night.' Oh god. :pac:)

If a question on procrastination comes up just leave it blank.
    It's a trick question.

    Fantastic.
But conscience makes cowards of us all, and some maybe inclined to write something!
Outrageous if they do. Clearly the examiner wanted you to recreate procrastination.

Anyone ****ting it that ovenhead may not come up, and we'll have to answer on Heaney?

If neither Larry or Plant (Thanks autocorrect, your poets are funnier) come up I'll punch my examiner.

General vision better come up. I could manage theme or issue with friendship but I know GV so much better I know how many miles really well and inside come dancing and Lughnasa so I could probably think of something I just need to remember the format.

One of rich, larkin or Plath have to come up, they can't be that cruel to students! :(

Heaney, Plath, Larkin, Kinsella or Rich

Guys I just received that confirmation that Yeats is definitely a guaranteed poet.

I've just spent three hours at Hamlet, (3 last night too) I'm surprised how well I remember it and how many quotes I know :)
Comparative, I'm fairly sound. + I know quotes.
IT's just poetry. I know Heaney and PLath, I'm going to do and hour and a half on Kavanagh now a s a back up.

Both Boland and Plath will be on the paper I reckon .

Can we all just agree to leave poetry blank if Plath doesn't come up?
I mean if everybody in the country did it, 'twould be grand...

Sure why not, if you've studied for two years :D
Apparently yesterday's paper one was the hardest in several years of examination.

Just look over Heaney! Even if he doesn't come up his poetry's fairly amusing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,076 ✭✭✭Eathrin

I think 30 mins GVV and I'm done,
    Kinda know Plant and Larry
Kinda know women and deception in Hamlet (Actually I know his character quite well so fingers crossed)
    Only kinda know GVV

Dunno about the rest of the country but it's a miserable, rainy day in Dublin at the moment.

Perfect Plath weather, it's a sign.
