You should be able to leave early. Can you ask her before you start tomorrow if she's sure of that rule because every other school you know of is allowed leave early? I think there's a period of time near the end that you can't leave in but you should be able to before that.

The other classes were allowed to leave early. Mine makes you wait until the end. I finished like 30mins early a few others were. Then near the end she'd say 10mins left no one can leave until the end :S.

Is anyone elses examiner mean, she threatened to write a note on anyone who looked at the paper early, telling the correcter that the person had extra time and to deduct marks.

Should I bother going over the area of a disc?

Yes, definitely and area under a curve too. One of them will defo come up.

Favorite Plath quote "African hands, Shrunken and minute for export" simply cause it shows how mad she was :pac:

Mine are really sound. One of the lads opened the English paper today, turned around to everyone and said "No Plath or Heaney bitches!" and she just laughed and told him to close the paper. :P

I'm on my own with one examiner who seems sound but he doesn't let ya start early :P

god, if you did that in my exam centre, the examiner would have had a fit, she probably wouldn't let you sit the paper. She checks everyone stuff in case it has notes written on it. Today she sat on the table beside mine and started swinging her legs making noise and everything distracting me, seriously WTF.

Our supervisor stopped us a good 3 minutes early in paper 2 today. Sounds petty but I had to rush to get my unseen done when she said "5 minutes left" when there were really 8 minutes...

In fairness I'd be kind of pissed if anybody was taking extra time.
Even when my paper gets collected first in the room and those in the other side are still writing even though she says pens down.

My examiner is soooooooound! :) Btw, I was just thinking, are you allowed to get the HL paper, have a quick look through it and then ask to change to pass if it's a horrible paper?

Yeah we were cut short about 2 minutes today I think, I know it doesn't sound like much but it is, I didn't have time to look back over it.

It's actually hilarious how little my English teacher cares about us, all the other teachers were there today before and after the exam to talk to people and she was nowhere to be seen. She also didn't turn up when we were presenting them with their presents and doing the whole thanks-for-everything speech (cos they're our class teachers too). Forever alone </3

    No, you can't do that!

Yeah but this was at the start, like people just wanted to see if the right poets had come up, it wasn't to get a head start, it was just to look at the paper. But yeah it's annoying when people get extra time, like the group the otherside of our exam centre have a different supervisor and I think they probably get a few more minutes I dunno.

My supervisor thought English paper 2 finished at 5:30 instead of 5:20 got an extra 10 minutes.. result!:D

Did anyone else finish the paper 2 early?
I was 30minutes early and I randomly tried to add things in to all my answers to pass the time. Everyone else said they finished at the last minute or they run out of time.

You're better than everyone else, we know! Know stop telling us :pac:

In all seriousness though, how do you finish with time to spare and with good answers to boot?

Hey lads, if I got 50% of my written geography exam right tomorrow and full marks for my project, what would my overall grade be? I can't remember how much the project is worth, go me. :o

So right, there was 4 of us in the Library in my school doing the Home Ec exam yesterday. Slowly people started finishing up and then there I was, on my own, in an empty room with a pretty good looking woman examiner.

I couldn't help but think to myself...

"This is how porn films start..."

I swear my examiner is like 100.. His heals clicks as he walks and it takes him about 15 minutes to hand out papers.. And there us only 15 people in my room!!

Proofs are paper two mate.... You need to be learning integration and demoivre's...

There are things to prove on both papers.

    Yes, yourself.

I'm fairly familiar with the paper at this stage and I can assure you that there are proofs to learn.
