Yeah I thought it was beautiful, I'm really happy with it :D
Incidentally - big debate among my class afterwards: did you guys hand up your actual question paper, since you had to draw on it in the first experiment? Some people did (me included) and some people maintained that as long as you wrote down the points you took from the slope you didn't need to.

It wasn't clear, so I'm guessing the points will be taken. I gave mine up and in the newspaper the teacher said you were meant to give it up? They really should have made it clearer though!

Small debate among ourselves, but I'm certain you didn't need to hand it up, they always punch a hole in the corner of anything submittable. Sure you wrote down your points so no problems there.
    Anybody else do every question?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,763 ✭✭✭finality

I handed up my physics paper too. Our supervisor said it'd probably be best to if we'd done that question, handing it up can't do any harm anyway.

I just added up the marks I think I got - exactly 360. That's the worst, I've got my hopes up now. I'd be absolutely delighted with an A2 though, considering I was thinking I'd get a C or D this morning.

I thought it was the absolute best possible paper I could possibly have gotten. :)

and that's the first thing I can tick off my things to do this summer list :D

I did everything except Q4, Q8 and the refraction part of 12 (the angle was in the wrong place wasn't it? was that just me?)

    Anyone do phys/chem ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,076 ✭✭✭Eathrin

I did everything except Q4, Q8 and the refraction part of 12 (the angle was in the wrong place wasn't it? was that just me?)

The diagram looked off but it was doable. It was going from more to less dense so I inverted n.

Chemistry can go and die in a hole. If I get a c3 at this stage I'll be delighted. Thought I understood the equilibrium equations, but it's clear that I don't. Fml.

Our supervisors refused to take the paper up, lol. I kept saying "I'm pretty sure you should take it up" but he was having none of it. I redrew the graph on graph paper and handed it up just in case like. Suuuuureee......it'll be grand:D 2 tests to go!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 217 ✭✭RedTexan

I've business information systems . But I keep thinking of possibly changing it to my first but it has less points so it's probably better as my 2nd. My other university choice is just across the road from me. It's feels too close not sure if thats good or bad :S.

So the leaving cert party in Galway is cancelled. Fúcking idiots sold all the tickets before they even had a venue, then started censoring the facebook page when people were mad about them cancelling it.
