Anyone know where you can dispose of an old tv in the city? Tried hegarty's on the ballysimon road but they aren't taking electrical goods anymore, know about mungret but don't fancy paying 8 quid when hegarty's was free!

Go to any electrical retailer tell them you bought a TV there recently and here is the old one.

Most will just take it off you tbh

the mungret recycling centre will let you in for free if its for disposal of an electrical item only, dropped a fridge of recently as long as thats all you have and its in a private car not a van or commercial vehicle they let you in

You can use Mungret for free when recycling electrical items only.

Edit to add, it's free for residential recycling only, fairly sure ther's a charge for business use.
