My thoughts from the ones I met over there are that some of them are kind and caring and good fun while some were quite ignorant vulgar and rude more so than some Irish women that I know. All of them are full of confidence which amazed me. What are yer thoughts?

Been to America a good bit. Have now been living here for nearly 2 months. Have yet to meet any vulgar women. Maybe they are from a certain part of the country though, it's a pretty big place. Jersey girls are probably a lot different to the girls in Texas. That's something too though, I'm in the South West and everybody is very polite, friendly and mannerly. So it could be a region thing

I knew one American girl who seemed quite keen on me, I told her I wasn't interested but she pursued me nevertheless. So I would say from experience that they are a persistent bunch, maybe too persistent as she would spend hours standing outside my house.

I eventually had to confront her about it. I said 'American woman listen what I say, don’t come hanging around my door, I don’t want to see your face no more'.

I haven't seen her since, which is for the best, she was no good for me and tbh I was no good for her.

I find that one can be really nice, friendly and helpful, then you have the other extreme of one being rude,loud and serious attitude.

Also I found in every restaurant I went into they really look after you and give a proper pleasant service.

Yeah I was in NY last month and one thing that really stood out to me was how confident the women are.. The men are too I guess, but a lot of the women I met had very big personalities..

Another thing we noticed was how available they make themselves to the tourists.. a few times we would be standing in the middle of a street with a map and people will just walk up to you asking if they can help you out.. people from all walks of life from businessmen to the street cleaners..

So so different over there.

Often very confident, will approach and talk to you, are polite and friendly. But then also loud and prone to saying crass and naive comments.

I also find with Americans you'll often know their life story within about 10 minutes of meeting them. I sat opposite an American girl on a 2 hour train journey and by the end of it I knew: all of her Grandparents names, how many weddings she'd been to, her whole job history, how many countries she'd been to whereas inadvertently I don't think I told her much more than my name and where I'm from .

Now before some clever cunt goes that's just a generalisation, of course it is, it's just been my experiences with them.

The one's visiting here are very hard to get them into bed, but I believe that has changed somewhat recently.
