Caring for hypalon

Hi all,

My yellow tubed Rib was looking a bit tired so I tried some Rib cleaner from boat buddy. As you can see from the photo, it certainly lifts the dirt and grime.

The Osprey logo is also looking tired and I'm wondering if anyone has an idea for touching it up. Is there a "paint" available for such a job?

If you can't get that, just make sure whatever paint you get make sure its rubber/latex based, as it needs to flex and stretch with the tubes.

falling that, contact osprey, more than likely they'll send you a new one for free as its basically advertising for them at min cost.

oops, trying attachment now...

Looks like Western's website is knackered atm. They have "liquid letters" paint..kinda rubbery latex based.

There is a paint called "topside" that you could use to bring it back up http://www.boatcaresupplies.com/products/Inflatable-Rib-Dinghy-and-Rib-Topside-renovation-paint..html or you could go the cheep way and just use a black permanent marker
