Hi, I'm looking for a recommendation for a nice restaurant I can bring my girlfriend in town. I need one that has a good coeliac menu?

Any suggestions would me appreciated, cheers.

The Millstone on Dame Street has a full coeliac menu and the food and atmosphere is great.

It's not in town but O'Connells in Donnybrook have a full coeliac menu also.

Again, not in town but Douglas & Kadeli in Dundrum TC have a coeliac menu and nights for coeliacs (I'm not sure how that works!)

Recently I noticied that Salamanca (tapas bar) in St Andrew's Street has gluten-free items on the menu.

I find it an E N O R M O U S hassle trying to find coeliac friendly food in town. If anyone has information could they please post it here. Thanks.

They only do takeaways, but have a separate gluten-free kitchen, fair play to them.

The Trocadero can cater for Coeliacs. The chef Liz actually does GF cheesecake. The wife loves it.

If you want to go out of town, Daniels in Glasthule is a little restaurant where the chef can come to your table and explain what you can and cannot have. In the past he has said to my wife, that is not ok for you, but I can make one up that is !

Does a mean Lobster Themador !

I second the millstone. The girlfriend and I went there, neither of us are coeliac but my girlfriend who is a vegetarian remarked on the fact that the menu was generally allergy friendly.

I remember someone recommending a blog
