    Hi Guys,

Long story short, I'm wondering what the steps are that one has to take to set up a lo-call service. It's a charity initiative I'm working on and would really appreciate any information you can give me.

I'm literally looking for the steps that I need to take to set one up.

    Thanks,
    Rob.

Ring whoever is your telecoms providor (Eircom, VF, O2 etc) and ask them to walk you though setting up a LoCall (AKA 18xx) number...

Make sure you actually want one first

True would rather make a donation than ring a 1850 or 1890 number.

Better off using a geographic number (eg 01, 021, 091..)

1890's and 1850's are just annoying to ring, most people have call plans. If you still want one, shop around: eircom, vodafone, bt ireland, imagine, upc, blueface, colt and so on..
