upc problem

    Hey not sure if this is the right place for this problem

    I had upc for quite a while now and recently had a dispute
    with them so I cancelled them went back to standard tv free to air
    stuff and lost the signal rang upc and they told me they have the right
    to block the signal is this true

    You cancelled them so they cut your service. There is no free-to-air on cable.

    Indeed. You now need to buy an aerial (and you should also invest in a Saorview box if you go down that route and don't have built in DTT), or investigate getting Freesat. Or both.

    There is no free-to-air on cable and UPC are within their rights to stop you receiving a service you aren't paying for.
