Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey. Are there many with maize set under plastic already this year? I saw maize planted on the 2nd of april thought it was mad early. Seen another few fields planted as well! With the ground frosts of the last week do you think theres any advantage to setting it so early?

Neighbours planting it today. If you sow it deep it takes about 2 weeks to emerge, that will nearly be May when it comes up and it will be under plastic for a good while (hopefully) after that. Needs a soil temp of 10C at 10cm depth to germinate so I reckon it's ok.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
