Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hi all...im looking into buying a 02 audi a4 from the north with 127000mls on clock...got it checked over by my mechanic and he gave the ok...so i decided i'd a few history checks just to be on the safe side. I used both Cartell and HPI and they said everything was fine and that there was no Odometer Reading Discrepancy, but Motorcheck is say that there is a problem and that there is a Odometer Contradiction and that the previous reading on 05/12/2009 was 153,878 Mls (247,643 Kms) Source: UK Trade.

Could this be a mistake on motorcheck part??..i really like the car but im not willing to take the risk..any advice would be welcome!! Cheers

127k miles is low for a 10 year old diesel car. Did you check the service history by ringing the garages who serviced the car?

Motorcheck is a registered user on this site so drop him a PM or give them a call tomorrow and ask if they can elaberate on it.

Go straight to the source I reckon. Motorcheck is a user here and helps out other members with queries. If you send him a message with the details, he should be able to look into the readings for you.
