Does it work for other liquid-based beverages? For those of us who intensely dislike tea and coffee in equal measure. Though I s'pose that some of the chocolate breaks off or melts into the tea, improving tea immensely.

I've only seen people do it with tea :(

    Aren't all beverages liquid based??

Look at this bonkers article from Joe.ie
And that stereotype of all Irish people being embarrassed to talk about sex can also be dispelled as Durex have found that almost half of us, 42 per cent, discuss our sex lives with our partners.

    http://www.joe.ie/news-politics/current-affairs/irelands-a-lot-sexier-place-than-you-thought-0025382-1

What?! That means 58% of people don't discuss sex with the people they're having sex with! Who are these people!?

judging by the number of people who post that they're sleeping with someone but don't know how to talk about this issue or that issue, it's not surprising... unfortunately

Most of the recipes say to rest the pastry in the fridge before rolling it. My wife has found that makes it much harder to work and just rolls it immediately. She makes the most wonderful pastry too...
I did let it sit for about an hour, that could have been it. I'll try rolling it straight away the next time, thanks so much for the tip.

Lots of people don't talk to each other. At our pre marriage course they asked to tell your partner how you felt when they proposed/you proposed and how it made you feel. You just had to say it to the person you're engaged to, nobody else heard it at all. Afterwards we were talking to another couple and the guy says "God that question was awful embarrassing, talking about things like that" How could you feel awkward with the person you've agreed to marry??

I think the forced environment would make me feel awkward answering any question tbh!

I can't imagine feeling awkward talking to my boyfriend purely because of any environment, and it was very relaxed, not forced at all, you don't have to do anything if you don't want to do it.

Pre marriage courses sound like utter torture to me. Not that I'd feel awkward discussing anything with my oh but some of the stories that people come back with make me cringe. Not something i'll have to be worried about for a while though anyway!

Nope, it was grand. Most people go into it with a really negative attitude, we found it really good and we had great fun together.

I am in a lonely cuddly mood and its pathetic because I'm not really sure why I'm feeling like this. I even baked icky-sticky-ooey-gooey-chocolate-biccie cake. And am making plans with boybestie. Just feeling rather empty, and I'm not sure why...

    Novella thats terrible, hugs x

AlmostNever, hope you're okay. Your post was lovely. It's very easy for us to sit here going "yeah! do it!" but it's so much harder in real life and I think you made the right call. He's so lucky to have a friend like you, and vice versa. I love thoughtful gifts like that.
