I'm in shock right now. I just came back from the cinema and my mam told me that my nana has bowel cancer She's only 66, just wasn't expecting it. We have to wait til Tuesday for the scan results to see if its spread

Sorry to hear that, hope she'll be okay! My Granny had kidney cancer a few years ago and made a full recovery...and she was a lot older. So fingers crossed

1. Not getting a document signed in time in work meaning that the transaction could get delayed because of me. Just one in a string of stupid preventable mistakes made by me recently that are really reducing any chances of me getting a job out of this internship or even just looking competent to others.

2. Getting so behind in work with so much to do by tomorrow, with thanks to the stupid mistakes

3. Not getting a place on campus for next year and having no friends that I could live with so I'm currently looking at being homeless

4. Having made my boyfriend stop talking to me. (it defo looks that way anyway)

Did a few hours study just now. No idea if I learnt anything or just confused myself further. I’m just going to console myself with the fact that I just can’t fail this module because the majority of the marks go towards assignments and I think I did fairly well in them. I'm still utterly clueless as regards the marking scheme though. Ah it’ll be grand sure.

Think I'm a bit thick today. Walked 10 mins in 40 degree heat to a South Indian restaurant which only serves really seriously painfully spicy food. (The lure was the prices - 80 cents for a huge lunch.) Burned the face off myself then had to walk the 10 mins back to the office in the unbearable heat. Arrived back and my Indian colleagues took great delight in giggling at my sweaty red face. Oh dear.

Why didn't I just bring a sandwich?! Having one of those 'duhhhhh' days.

That's me right now. Next exam tomorrow. Im exhausted and panicked. Nursing a cup of tea at the moment. Starting to feel a little better.

Oh no I hate that feeling I get that feeling on a weekly basis at work, I like to do loads and loads then take a lovely hour long break to go for a walk or watch a programme I love, rewards me and then I go back again for a while x
