Couldn’t sleep last night so ended up with having only 2 hours sleep. Saw 5.22am on my bedside clock and was up at 7.30. Was a bit of a zombie this morning as a result. Exam was meh. Could have been better, could have been worse. Annoyed with myself about one part of it but at least I have it over with. :)

Interview in the morning. Really nervous already. :( Had a bit of a meltdown earlier when I tried to copy the reference my tutor gave me today and both of our printers wouldn’t work. Just my luck. Managed to get one of them to work in the end but I really could have done without the hassle. I don’t think I’ll sleep tonight either.

The best nights are the ones when you suddenly realising you've unknowingly been fighting sleep for ages. Too much fun to pay attention to the sleepiness!

Best of luck to everyone with exams, you guys are troopers!

Best of luck in the morning Mollykins. :D

I'm the same with sleeping. I can fall asleep okay but then find it hard to stay asleep for more than a couple of hours at a time.

I know and then I get home and I'm wide awake. Grrrrr!

3 of us have draw something games going on with different people and if anyone was looking in the window they would have thought we were so unsocialable. But the laugh we had trying to figure out the pictures and for them trying to figure out wtf kind of pics I was sending to people :p

Fun fun fun. Now someone knock me out please :)

Thanks ladies. :) I think I’ll need it.

Fairly scared I’ll mess it up because I’m just so nervous. I think I want this job a bit too much.

Hope ye get to nod off soon. *makes soothing whale noises* :pac:

How do you go from wanting to murder people one minute to being incredibly grateful they are in your life the next? Think I'm seriously going mental at the moment....

I have been in such a normal, happy mood for months now that it's just a bit weird. I know I'm due a bad patch, as they always happen every 3 or 4 months...just want it to be over with already! Weird thing to want, but oh well.

Brought the new dog for a walk to the lakes today! He is scared of water! The poor guy. He just kinda looked in the lake confused at what he was supposed to do and then just started drinking the water! Might go swimming in a few days in a wetsuit and bring him. He should be a swimmer!

Thunder, lightning and rain this afternoon in Bhubaneswar. Sitting on the couch reading reports with the windows open, it looks mental out there and it's lovely! Only 12.30pm and it's so dark it could be nighttime. Will try to take some pics :)

Feeling sorry for myself. My throat and mouth are so sore. I could cry at the thought of getting up but I have something I can't get out of. Am dreading trying to eat. Even sipping water is very painful. :(

The neighbours are putting on an extension to their house, and usually the builders aren't around at weekends. This morning though, angle grinders were up and running at 9am. Talk about being jolted awake!

That's my first world problem of the day :o

    Hi everybody,

*hugs* for everybody who's sick or has exams or if you just need a hug. :)

Going to get food now. Then I have to wash myself in a basin, dress myself, pack stuff for going to bf's, do my hair, put make-up on, feed the chipmunk and then leave for the train station.

Going to a 21st with my bf tonight. I'm half looking forward to it and half not looking forward to it at the same time.. :o

afaik, It's illegal to have any noise like that before 11am....

I remember reading somewhere on here about someone complaining their neighbour was mowing the lawn at like 8am!

I presume its in relation to lighting up hours, you cant honk your horn after 11pm and before 11 am.

So I think I had a fit last night... Or something like it... It has scared the **** out of me.

I was on the laptop and got this weird feeling in my fingers (it happens often but normally not this bad) and then all of a sudden I could move my mouth and couldn't breathe and started to black out. I could feel everything happen but couldn't do anything. I was just praying for someone to cone into the kitchen and help me. It stopped after a minute or two but I was totally disorientated afterwards and in tears. I just went straight to bed without brushing my teeth, taking off my make up or anything.

I half thought that I might have imagined it last night until I mentioned to my mum this morning who said that shed found my glasses on the floor and other stuff knocked over from where I was sitting.

I am totally freaked out now. My dad things that it might have been to do with me drinking last night. I normally don't drink at all but had 3 Malibu and Whites last night (work do, they kept buying me drinks!). But the drink hadn't really has too much of an effect on me and I have drank similar before just extremely rarely.

This could stop me ever drinking again though!

Go to the doctor and get checked out, even just to rule out anything serious! Sounds like a very scary experience, hopefully it doesn't happen again.

That sounds a bit worrying MCR! I would steer clear of the drink for now and try to get to the doctors and see what they think about it. If it is happening on any sort of regular basis I would try to get seen to soon.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,401 ✭✭✭✭x Purple Pawprints x

Jeez that sounds so scary MCR. You should probably avoid drink and also go see a doctor just in case. Hopefully it won't happen again. Hope you're okay today. x

Then this morning he snuck out while I was asleep to go to the shop and buy me breakfast to bring me in bed. Loves him.

SarahBro, that sounds so exciting, congrats :)

Hope you're doing okay MCR, the sooner you figure out what's wrong, the better. Must have been frightening :(

Bubblefett your bf sounds like an absolute sweetheart! Makes me miss mine even more :o

I fell asleep texting my boyfriend last night, but woke up to another text at 4:30am from an unknown number saying "Hey x". The same number had texted me a 1am with the same text. I, still half asleep, replied asking who it was, and they said they probably had the wrong number. Then they texted me again asking who I was, with this face :P.

I then decided it was time to sleep. Slept through my 7:30am alarm, so I haven't even started studying for the day. FML.

Interview is over with. Relieved to have it over with but I don’t think I did great. The more I think about it the more annoyed at myself I get. So disappointed. :(
Pretty sure all the other applicants have way more experience than me too so it doesn't even matter that I got lovely references from people. Knackered now so I think I’ll go to bed for a while.

Hope you are ok Sar_Bear and MCR. :)
