    Hi Guys,

    Was looking to go to the doctor, am i covered with medicare as part of my whv or is it just for permanent residents? Do i need to register with medicare first?

    If you are on temporary visa with an Irish passport (and not from the North) then you are on the Reciprocal agreement which is not Medicare. You can't register with Medicare.

    Just go to the Doctor and pay the bill yourself, usually about $70.
