I thought I'd captain RVP, but after transferring him in there, I'm going for Sess.

I really can't bring myself to consider all the different psychological effects that may or may not effect Rooney.

Bad game last time... may play with his head down... trying too hard... may carry bad form... yada yada...

OR

Needs to prove himself... will be sparked by being taken off early last game... will have more hunger now... etc.

Whoever I end up choosing between him and RVP, I can't honestly tell myself one or the other is the "obvious" choice.

I'm in the exact same boat. I'm leaning towards Rooney.

United usually bounce back hard, and hes their focal point for that.

Villa have a shocking defence (bar when they stick 11 men behind the ball, which im sure they will.)
But looking at Wigan last few weeks, i dont see them shipping too many goals to Arsenal.

As much as Rooney is "out of form", RVP has 1 goal in his last 5 games and that came from the penalty spot.

17 - 5 in favour of RVP against Rooney. 6 for Sess is quite good (id prob go for him if i had him in)

Anyone changing their mind last minute to Rooney? I think im gonna stick with him..

It might have messed up my plans in the long run but just got Sess in for Bale so he will be given the armband for his trouble! Hope it pays off now! wait and see... McClean hat-trick, quiet one for Sess :pac:...

RVP with just 1 goal in 5. I have a feeling he scores from play this weekend. Wigan beating a shockingly bad United followed by a result at an in form Arsenal isn't something I see. Gervinho is back this weekend too which is an outlet for assists.

I also like captaining a big player in the last game of the weekend. Usually cause I hate watching it when he's not my captain while loads others have him.
