Custom firmware on the PSP Street?

Is it possible? I was very dissapointed that a proper CFW never came out on the PSP Go, ended up selling it because of that. But I do like the matte look of the PSP Street so if it were possible, I might go for that.

Alternatively, is there a place in Ireland where I can buy a CFW PSP Slim? I went through the whole rigmorole of putting CFW on a Slim before only to have it stolen, so buying a PSP with the job already done would be great :pac: Adverts.ie didn't turn up much. Would be looking for private or business sellers... I saw one, but it says the CFW is pro b 10... now I've never heard of that, surely CFW has always followed Sony's firmware naming conventions... anyone know what the story is with that?

    Thanks in Advance.

Not sure if the newest model can be modified with custom firmware - possibly not since it has hardware revisions. Best bet is to check the forums at psp-hacks for example: http://forums.dashhacks.com/

As for the custom firmwares, the orginal psp hacking god (Dark Alex) stopped making them at 5.00M33-6. Personally I've always stuck with this firmware as it was always more solid and reliable. I'm not so up to speed with the later custom firmwares but I'm sure they do what they say they do.
