Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

3 I fell for until about the age of 9:

    2. Tooth Fairy.
    3. God.

Not a prank, this was a serious request: My mate, being balubas drunk, asked the barman for a hot whiskey with ice!

When my brother was a teenager I was only about 3 or 4.

He used to get a packet of polos and sit in front of me eating them.

Me: hey, can I have a sweet?
Him: if I get a polo that doesn't have a hole in it, you can have it.
    Me: ok!

I used to sit there staring at him, of course I never got a holeless polo.. Prick! :(

My earliest memory of getting caught out:
When I was a little lad of 5 we had just moved into a new house, there was girl around my age next door. So first time talking to here she had some penny sweets and I had some big gobstopper yoke in my hand.

She says to me 'I'll give you my bag of penny sweets for your gobstopper'. I said fine and handed her the gobstopper, she ran away in home with both the penny sweets and gobstopper. It hurt deeply to realise that there were mean people in the world :o

Not really a prank as such but It was my first time getting caught out.
