Who would tow my boat to garage?.

    Hi
    Engine needs repair, no car, Donegal to Burtonport (70KM) + plus 20km approx for trailer pick-up etc. Costs me €30 in diesel anyway in friends jeep so If i can save day off work, it would be worth paying for someone's time.

    Reverse journey will have to be done as well a week or later of course.

    Anybody got an idea.
    O' its small 4m rib with 25hp engine about 300KG.

    if it's a 2 stoke then I'd be inclined to disconnect the cables/fuel and steering from the engine and lift it off the boat. 25hp would be manageable to lift off therefore reducing the need for a trailer at least, and make your job of finding some one to do the trip a lot easier.
