UPC - Thompson router - packet loss problems!

    Hi all,this issue has me perplexed.

    Up until yesterday,I had no problems, but now even the pingtest.net packet test will not run.

    I have ran the hostmycalls test, and its showing packet loss at my IP.

    I had lost my BB yesterday, which required me to contact UPC, and reset my modem/router as it had lost sync with the network apparently. UPC are unable to help.

    I have the routers firewall off, so obviously ip flood protection etc is disabled.

    I cannot find the cause of this packet loss problem, and its making connections to some game server etc impossible.

    Any idea's oh net guru's? Any other settings on the router I need to check?

    I've just noticed that in the software page, there is no IP address assigned in the 'Cablemodem IP Address' field-that cant be right surely? Or is it?
