Pretty meaningless goal FF wise alright. Only impact possibly is to reduce Rooney BPs potential as things stand. Long way to go in the match though. Utd could roll over this Villa side completely in the second half if the mood takes them...

Anybody see Ryan Taylor's tweet about Young's dive? https://twitter.com/#!/TaylorR1984

    a. He's wrong.

    b. Only tw@ts end a message with something like "#not surprised"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

Young took a dive, plain and simple.

  • Moderators, Regional East Moderators Posts: 23,233 Mod ✭✭✭✭GLaDOS

    Rooney is playing quite poorly.

    Guaranteed 3 bonus points :p.

If referring to my post, i was saying that Taylor was wrong to say "Funny how everyone bar Man Utd fans thought it was a dive." There are mixed opinions on it on the game thread.

Should have been another united penalty, blatant handball. Ref balancing things out.

Rooney needs to get at least another assist to make me feel happy about captaining him, don't think he will get the 3bp at this stage, maybe not even 2

Ah, didnt see that tweet, saw the others.

I doubt there are many that think that was a genuine foul, if there are, I'd hazard a guess they be United supporters

He's played like absolute sh!te today. The worst I have seen him play in ages. Poor control, dreadful shooting, mistimed passes, dropping deep.

    Certainty for 2+ bonus points.

Wow worst performance ever for 2 goals

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 704 ✭✭✭frisbeeface

If Utd hold on for a CS then a pretty good game for me. Rooney (c) really jammy for me today.

Remember everyone... 2 goals and 3bps for the Rooney this week! Positive thoughts, and all that rubbish. :p
Not a chance. You'll be sweating watching RVP bang them in on Monday night after Rooney gets booked and then limps off 3 minutes into the second half.

Jevans for the 3 baps please!

So annoyed. Was going to captain Rooney as I thought he'd give a good performance in response to the Wigan game. Changed my mind and went with RVP the player in better form. Then it turns out to be the right decision as Rooney plays horribly only to see him score a soft penalty and a deflected effort which Given would have saved easily.

Really need RVP to do some damage tomorrow night.

In other news, Nani goal and Evans assist.

Anyone not have Evans, Valencia and Rooney???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,431 ✭✭✭✭The_Kew_Tour

Rooney Capt, Valencia and Evans is not bad days work

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

    Nice one

2 Goals from Rooney, Assist from Young & a CS and assist from Evans.

Pity that everyone has them or has Valencia which cancels Young's assist!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

Ha. What a pass by Evans. Certainly a candidate for ff bargain of the season...

I don't have Rooney. But I got in Aguero before Wednesday, so all's good :)

    Evans, Young, Rooney here.

There's always a few who wont though.

61 pre bonus points with 3 arsenal players to play including RVP (C)

Happy enough but the teams are all so alike it's tough to make ground/ pull ahead.

Aguero to the make diff for me this week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,293 ✭✭✭✭Mint Sauce

    Assist from Evens.

40 points with one to play. Not bad considering I only had 8 playing to start with.

64 with 3 to play, captain Rooney just about justifying the nod over RVP..........need RVP to have a 1 goal game or Arteta to get a goal or 2!
Hard to believe 72 plus will be a reasonable score this week with so little games

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,595 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

67 pts with RVP (c) and Walcott left to play tomorrow. Gone past the 2K mark in total score as well.

Don't have Valencia, however, I do have Evra, Evans & Rooney :D

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 15,237 Mod ✭✭✭✭FutureGuy

51 points with Vermaelen, Wallcott and RVP (c) to play. One rival has Song instead of Vermaelen and the other has only Vermaelen and RVP. Both captained RVP.

What i'm sh!ttng about is that I put Sessegnon as VP while they have Rooney as VC. So hopefully Wenger doesn't decide to rest RVP!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,370 ✭✭✭✭8-10

51 with Sagna and RVP (C) to go. Delighted seeing as I made drunken subs on Friday night costing me 4pts. Should get a bonus point or two also

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

67 with 2 to play! 8 pt hit but done half with Wolves in mind (will have 3 City players!) so can't complain there really! Al Habsi clean sheet tomorrow would be beautiful!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,416 ✭✭✭Jimmy Iovine

I expected nothing from this week at all. Very pleased to be on 53 at the moment. Still have Walcott and RVP (c) to play and the bonuses as well. Could easily get past 70 if RVP has his shooting boots on.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,383 ✭✭✭S.M.B.

Could actually hit the 100 mark if bonuses go my way and RVP/Vermaelen clock up a few points between the two of them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

53 myself with RVP(c), Song & Vermaelen to play.

Evans, Rooney and Evra here! 28 point.... get the f*ck in :D Only I didn't captain Rooney  Ah well. I now have 32 points.

Forgot I also have Chamberlain! Hoping the above posted BP's are wrong and Rooney gets 3 and Turner gets one for Sunderland, he's been picking them up very regularly for clean sheets this year.

54 points with RvP (c) and Walcott to play. Stephen Ireland did his job as my transfer for the week and got a healthy 2 by not getting booked.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,065 ✭✭✭✭eh i dunno

62 with captain RVP to play and bp's for Siggy/Rooney surely. Great week with only 9 players

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 667 ✭✭✭DazzlerIE

54 with RVP (c), TV and Walcott still to play

    Standard enough really

56 with VP to play. Why oh why did I captain Nick. First time in a good few weeks I've taken it from Rooney. :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,709 ✭✭✭✭Cantona's Collars

67 with 3 Arsenal players left,Rooney was poor today but still got his goals. Thanks also goes to 'Beckenbauer' Evans, great assist for the last goal today and 9 points to boot.

Gotta love the guy in 11th who's left 18 points on his bench... will do a monster jump up to 2nd or 3rd after the Arsenal game :)

great week to do it, saw a guy on fiso saying he deliberately left a few lads on the bench for a bit of momentum come Tuesday morning :D

He's on a cracking score at the moment. If Siggy and Rooney get 3 BP's and Aguero gets 2, he's on 90.
