-When I introduce myself I lead onto all the basic topics. When I say my age I mention that I'll be having a house party for my 18th, although my hoouse is very small and I live far away, which leads my house/area.. do I like it etc.

-Passe temps is soccer, I've some really nice phrases on it which I put a lot of thought into, eventually will lead onto pressure.

No matter what topical issue they ask me about, I say basically the same comment at the start:

'Alors, je crois que la tabac/les drogues/la pollution est la problem plus grave dans notre pays en ce moment'.. To finish the topic off, 'Donc, a mon avis il n'ya pas de recette magique, mais il faut lutter contre les drogues etc. avant qu'il ne soit trop tard' BAM- Subjunctive.

I'll probably try and lead mine towards music, movies and tv and I have the questions covered for what they might ask. I might try and bring up travelling when they ask about the future.

I assume they'll ask about a typical day , and my area. I'm not sure if it's worth me preparing more about my area as I said I lived in the place I'm in a year. They might bring up and ask me to compare where I lived last year. An probably what college and course.

I've 3.5 hours of French Study done this Morning, just trying to ensure i've everything covered PRESSURE!

Je regarde le film Amelie maintenant, et mon dieu, les gens en parlent tres vite :pac: Je n'ai pas fait beaucoup de preparation pour m'epreuve orale mais il faut que m'examinateur me donne des bonnes resultats Si elle ne me les donne pas, il y aurai des graves problemes :P Mon examen blanc est allé tres bien et car ca j'espere que celui aille bien aussi, alors quand meme je ne suis pas qu'assuré sur cette epreuve que j'etais pour l'un dernier. Alors, si je ne rencontre pas la succés, je dois quand meme faire de mon mieux. Que chacun a de la chance demain!

I have a week to prepare I don't think I'll be on until tuesday or wednesday. I have half days on Mondays. They're two examiners in my school for the orals.
I'm about middle on the list but nearer the end. I have to leave French for today until tomorrow .Hopefully I'll do okay I don't mind what I get , I just know the listening brings me down as well so if I can at least do okay for the oral then focus on the rest. It's only ordinary so it's not too bad.

even if the word is feminine when you're saying mine or yours or whatever you use the masculine possessive when the word starts with a vowel to ease pronunciation.

Hey, I've my oral tomorrow... :O Just wondering is this the right pronunciation for "vu" = "vee"

I just read that they aren't pronounced the same so vous = v-ew and vu = vee?

Is this right or am I going crazy? Was what I read wrong as they didn't give the pronunciation of them!

No I'm pretty sure vu is pronounced 'vuh' (really short sound) and vous is pronounced 'voooooo' (nice and elongated). Kind of hard to distinguish between them but hopefully that helps!

I could talk to some extent about global warming/recession too.

What else should I learn? My oral is tomorrow and I'm aiming for an A1.

They're all relatively easy to takl about so I don't think I'll bother, thanks though

I'VE GOT A PLAN!
If he asks me about pocket money/part time job/next year or household tasks I'll finish on "Ma vie serait plus facile si j'ai gagné le loto!"
Then he'll (hopefully) ask me what would I do if I won it, so I'll ramble on a bit and then say that I'd donate money to charities that try to prevent global warming, then rant on about that.

Pretty foolproof, I hope!

Alors, si j'ai gagné le loto je ferais pas mal de choses. J'organiserais une soirée pour ma famille et mes amis. Je voyagerais le monde et le meilleur pour la fin (last but not least, good one to use I think!), je donnerais beaucoup de l'argent aux organisations caritatives qui essaient d'empêcher le réchauffement globale. À mon avis, le réchauffement globale est un problème très grave. Les déchets radioactifs, la déforestation et les centrales nucléaires ne sont que quelques exemples qui montrent que nous ne faisons pas assez d'attention à notre planète. Je veux donner de l'argent aux organisations qui protègent l'environnement car bien que je fasse toujours le recyclage, il faut que tout le monde le fasse.

Em, the construction's not right and it kind of sounds like you've just taken a sentence in English and translated each world individually...are you talking about a movie or book or something? Because it might be easier to say something like 'Il y a beaucoup de suspense, donc on toujours devine en regardent/en lisant le film/le roman'

I would say "si je gangnais" (the imperfect tense), I don't know if that actually matters though.

Right, so I got a French friend to correct that piece on the lotto/environment and it's learnt. Just have like half a page of my document left to learn and I'm sorted, I hope.

Learnt lots of stuff on the Grand National, animal cruelty is a cert this year. I'm also going to try to talk about history and the french colonies because i am partly from Martinique. Stoked for this. Come at me bros
