Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    When was your timing belt last changed? If not recently, then you'd be advised to change the timing belt kit and water pump at the same time.

    Belt and Pump done only 4 months a go. Had that problem over a year now. Problems at cold start. Third time starts OK. Struggle to idle. To start the first time need to push the gas pedal.

    Have you had it properly diagnosed as the dephaser pulley? On the Renaults they normally get very rattley on start up when they are worn.

    It is noisy at start. Changed the TDC sensor, cleaned the throttle body. Same problem.

    Can someone give me a price for labour? I can get the part for about €175. Renault dealer €275 plus Vat for parts only.

    The labour would be basically the same as a timing belt change as the cams/crank have to be locked, belt removed end seals replaced etc.
