Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ulster Bank mobile banking app problem (iP 4S)

    I've downloaded the Ulster Bank RI app for the iPhone and it asks me to enter my phone number, which I do. Then it tells me that an activation code has been sent to my phone, but none ever arrives.

    Frustrated, I rang Ulster Bank's mobile banking support and they asked me to delete the app and reinstall. Then they asked me to text STOP to 51157, but that did nothing either.

    Finally they suggested that my operator (Meteor) must have restrictions in place which prevents the app from sending the activation code to me (according to UB's records, they received my requests for an activation code and dispatched it multiple times, but their dispatch is not being received by my phone). I was advised to call Meteor and ask them to lift whatever restriction is in place.

    I did this, but Meteor are adamant that there is no restriction.

    Has anyone else encountered this problem with Ulster Bank's app?

    The only help I can give is that in our household the Text was recieved on an iP 4s with 3, and 2 iP4 with VF. I hope it works out for you as the App is extrodinaryily handy as you probably are aware. I almost enjoy paying bills from it!

    Rang Meteor again and they see no reason why the code won't come through. I asked them to open a problem ticket with their tech support though, so *maybe* they'll get back to me.

    What did 3 say to you?

    I first applied for my activation code back in December when I had a 3Gs on o2 and it arrived a couple of days later. App was working fine for a few months but hasnt been working now for a while. Now on a 4S and I keep getting "Service Unavailable" after entering my login details. definitely worked after I upgraded but think it stopped working when the app had an update recently. Used be very handy, now its useless.
