    http://t.co/I1qnPLTB is a thread I am trying to access but boards is not allowing me. Can you clarify why this is?

    That thread is in a forum restricted to moderators of certain other forums. Consequently access is not available to anyone outside that particular small group.

    I was redirected to it by a twitter user who has an app for android I am trying to get my hands on. I used to be able to see this thread when it was in emergency services. Can you tell me why it is locked to me now?

    the thread was moved by an emegency services moderator into a forum you do not have permission to access. that's the reason as to why it's locked.

    Ok. Thanks for informing me. Is there anything I can do to gain access to that forum or is it off limits permanently?

    You'll need to become a mod of the emergency services forum to be granted access.

    You should pm one of them to ascertain why the thread was moved in the first place.
