Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

An idea for an App, but no coding knowledge

Hi guys, just a quick question. I have an idea for an App which I'd love to develop, but in terms of creating it, I wouldn't know where to begin.

Are there specific websites/software packages out there that you'd recommend? And is it necessary to code an Android and iPhone/iPad App completely separately?

Apple - you need a Mac, XCode and Objective-C coding knowledge. Xcode/Apple site has loads of details.

    android uses Java.

Every now and then I think of an app idea that would be useful. But then ....

Thanks for the info Hobbes. And thanks for the link Tazium, you Dream-Killer... ;)

But actually, while one of my app ideas has been done several times (synthesizer) the other hasn't, as I've spent awhile hunting around hoping to find something like it.
