Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a 2.0 ltr A4 Quattro and I find it really good to drive. It was excellent in the snow when most cars where stuck mine just zipped on by no worries.

They are a good reliable car.Not too bad on petrol obviously better with motorway driving but all in all I'm on my 2nd A4 but the 1st Quattro and I don't think I'll be changing from a Quattro.

What sort of mpg are you getting if you don't mind me asking?

Im getting around the 30mpg mark. It all depends on the driving. If im in town it will go a bit less but more often that not its around the 30 mpg.

The 1.8t in the earlier A4's is prone to failure if they don't get very regular oil changes with the correct oil. The oil pickup in the sump gets clogged with sludge and starves the engine of oil.

Best way to check before buying would be to get an oil pressure test done.

Mine has 200bhp. A lot more compared to the 1.6 A4 i had previously.
