quickest way to balbriggan from harolds cross at 6pm

Whats the best route? Im not on public transport today and trying to figure should i go up the canal and m50 or should i head city centre and drumcondra onto m1?

Any ideas of quickest route journey beginning at 6pm tonight?

M50. Drumcondra will be nuts. The only traffic you will meet m50/m1 is the airport because everyone crawls by the roadworks.

How far are you from crumlin? I have been over at the childrens hospital a fair bit, and straight out the red cow is considerably quicker than any other way. If you can get to the hospital area withion 10 minutes, I'd defo go that way.

literally from priory rd just around the corner from harolds cross itself. will head towards crumlin road on sundrive and then out long mile to m50 i think!

Anywhere around the canal area will be nuts. Personally I would go back through Templeogue and on to the M50 from there.

Yeah 2nd this, go up kimmage road towards KCR keeping going straight and up through Templeogue roundabout, then take right at Templeogue bridge straight up past roundabout at Spa Well and then onto M50.

Anytime I'm in that neck of the woods with work and need to get to the M50, I go via Rathgar/Templeogue/Terenure. Far quicker than the canal route from my experience. Physically longer, but you do it in less time, plus psychologically, it's nice to be moving.

I'd go towards Rathmines then down the canal towards Merrion Square direction and out to the tunnel from there.

You would be sitting in traffic for most of it. Town is a no-go area at 5:30-6:30.

I think the quickest way is onto the south circular,head for Kilmainham,then turn left onto Con Colbert Road and joining the M50.Going thru Templeogue will be slow and you will be going back on yourself.You'll get from HC to SCR easily as traffic will be ok.

if you are in a hurry, best best is down the canal, over the toll bridge and through the port tunnel.
