Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We are leasing 8 hectares and the farmer is going to give us entitlements with it, what do I put in the 'number of entitlements' box? is this the amount of hectares? How do I find out the value per entitlement?

You need to speak with the farmer you are leasing off.

Entitlements are almost a commodity - they can be any value. You need to speak with him before you fill out the form saying you are leasing, as I imagine he needs to complete a similar form (maybe the same form?) saying he is renting.

Page two of the transfer of entitlements needs both signatures. Entitlements are based per hectare i.e. one entitlement = one hectare. As i said in the other thread you placed, it would be advisable to get some form of ag adviser. you could get his overall entitlement value and divide by the number of hectares but this isnt guaranteed.
we have different values on different bits of ground.
for the sake of having all your forms right, i would really recommend getting someone who knows what there at rather than taking advice randomly off boards. its hard for enough filling out the forms when they are in front of you.
