Im wondering if anyone has bought solar panels at a good price from anywhere, shop or internet??
My father is looking to purchase 6-8 solar panels, and while i can find a lot of websites offering them for cheaper, I want someone trust worthy ie I dont want to buy from China and find I get a box full of nothing delivered. If anyone has bought these somewhere for a good price, here or abroad, I would appreciate a recommendation.

    Hi,
I'm in the industry in Ireland and I can only advise the following from lessons learned,
    - Buying from abroad is fraught with problems - the savings are not worth it.
A number of Chinese manufacturers have Irish distribution and agents. Parts and shipping issues, assembly and tech support are not a problem when your contact is in this country. Also service or parts are off the shelf pumps - grudfoss etc.
    - The other main let down with solar is installation, not matching the output for exact requirements (i.e. hot water users ) - there is such a thing as too much solar energy, which when not used causes most systems to degrade. Poorly sized and shoddy installations cause most known issues.
    Mike ;)
