Distant Learning in HR

    Hi all just wondering if anyone can help me. My girlfriend is a Health & Safety advisor working in the corporate sector. She is looking to complete a postgrad thru distant learning in HR. Has anyone here completed a dipmola/degree in HR thru distant learning. She has been looking at this course thru the International Career Institute (www.icieducation.ie) but as it is International and not specifically tailored to Ireland she does not know if it would be worthwhile. Any advice would be grately appreciated.

    Major waste of money. If your gf wants a HR career in Ireland this will not help her in any way. National College of Ireland have part-time hr diplomas/post-grad/MA's that are well regarded in the industry. Might be worth her while to contact them.

    Thanks for your reply. Yeah she has contacted nci but they do not have a distance learning course in hr. we are currently not in the country and therefore she was looking for something thru distance learning. Do you know if there is any distance learning courses recognized in Ireland in hr or similar which could get her into the industry. Have you heard negative feedback regarding ici. Thanks for your help.
