Well.. it's taken from a page on Broadsheet.ie back in April.. but it does confirm HB are bringing them back.. apparently!

Sadly fat frogs are not coming back, don't know why HB is holding off it got a lot of attention and the fat frog pages on Facebook have a huge following. From what I can figure out, one of the facebook pages posted that they were coming back, other Facebook pages then picked it up and then the media picked it up.

Ugh. I don't get why HB won't just do it. If they even released a limited edition for the summer, they'd fly off the shelves what with them being a novelty and the campaigns to bring them back again.

looking at the prices, i always remember avoiding the the cornettos because they were too dear at 60p!

How the hell did that Boomy thing stay together. Don't think I ever saw one. Still can't find any evidence of the HB Guitar, although might have been called Banjo. Would have been mids 80s and I think it was chocolate. I'm beginning to think I may have dreamt it.

Hated Fat Frogs, but on a positive note I bought a Feast the other day and it seemed like they've made it a lot bigger again. Loved it as a kid, but in recent years it was just miserably small, particularly the inner chocolate bit.

How do you mean? The stick just went through all three individual ices. I remember it, but in a million years wouldn't have been able to recall the name, and "Boomy" still rings no bells at all. The ice pop was okay. I got it quite a lot but I think more due to the novelty of the shape rather than for the taste.
