Clean/Nice hotel close to Aviva?

Heading up to Aviva on Sep 15th and looking for somewhere reasonable within walking distance to stay for the night. There'll be big crowds around after the concert anyhow so it'll be safe enough walking around, so anywhere within maybe 1.5km of the stadium would be grand, in either direction.

Not too pushed on fancy brekkie as we normally sleep-in anyhow!

Any places off the top of your head for under €100 per night (2 adults). The Gibson is €90 so could be tempted there, as we could get the LUAS from O' Connell St. area after

    Any ideas? :)

We stayed there when they were doing the rooms for €20 per night and thought that was great value - at €100 (they're coming up more expensive online) they are certainly not good value!

That's what I would suggest, booked it for the brother last time he was up got a good rate on hotelclub.net. It's a nice spot.

Not sure where the LUAS is coming into it, the walk from The Gibson the the Aviva can't be much more than 1.5km (assuming you are walking over the East Link)

Grand Canal Hotel, 2 min walk. No idea what it costs.

We just went with the Gibson in the end, €100

The LUAS goes all the way to the O2 now, and stops right outside the Gibson, so very handy. But yes, I take your point that it can't be a long walk from the Aviva via East Link
